At Human Business Intelligence, our core service offerings must meet two criteria: sustainability and scalability.

Sustainability

Many people can make changes for the short-term. We’re all familiar with a diet that generates short-term weight loss, but later realize we can’t keep it up. Similarly, organizations attempt many initiatives and projects only to later realize that the team can’t sustain them for the long-term. This creates 2 problems: the current initiative will likely fail, and employees will be less receptive to future ideas.

It’s for these reasons that all of our programs have long-term sustainability in mind. Following a proprietary change management model, we ensure that everyone involved understands the reasons for change and are intrinsically motivated. Each stakeholder will understand their part in the larger strategy, and play an active role in moving initiatives forward. Furthermore, all programs are tailored to the organization – no two groups are identical. Therefore, sustainability requires that you have all strategies fit around the people, culture, products, and services of the organization.

Scalability

The greatest power of any organization is the ability to multiply – that is, to take something someone does very well and be able to duplicate it across many individuals or groups. To achieve this we need a strong vision, clear and repeatable processes, standard operating procedures, and the ability to measure what we’re doing each day.

Perhaps the toughest challenge is our mentality. If we jump in to fix something each day, we are adding value by addition – but that only goes so far. We are looking to multiply our efforts, not simply add value by jumping in whenever we’re needed. Imagine if we can take what we do and have 2, 3, or even 10 people perform that task similarly? What if we could have 1,000 people perform that task at a high level? This is the power of multiplying our business, otherwise known as scalability.

Using our highly successful employee engagement model, we’re able to keep individuals and teams highly involved and motivated throughout all of their daily activities at work. We can also have them document what is best and worst about the job, to ensure we create a scalable and efficient model that can be multiplied across teams and divisions.
